I have searched and searched and cannot seem to find out how to remove the headrest. Can someone please tell me how this is done

yup...

its easy...go to the back of the seat, pull the head rest all the way UP.....you can see in the trim of where the post of the head rests go into the seat, there is a small hole....stick something in that hole and pull UP..the head rest will come out all the way
