We I've had a bulb out on the dash for a while now, finally had time, so took it all apart. I was able to seperate dash bezel from cluster housing, but need to get between the display (gauges), and the massive microchip in the back. I hate to say this, but could'nt see any bulbs inside and I'm starting to think they are non-serviceable. Is this real life????

I believe they are serviceable. Not sure of how to get to the bulb you have burnt. In case it helps here are the bulb specs and vendor, although I understand your issue is getting to the bulb.
