I see no metal pieces in your pan or filter...doesn't mean there aren't any, though. Check any and all particles with a magnet to be absolutely sure.
The "paint chip" looking things are very likely flakes of 3rd clutch friction, and are another sign the trans was beat on.
From what I have seen thus far, I would classify this trans as a good rebuild candidate.
After taking off the diff cover, We found out the trany was badly cracked where the diff cover bolts to the trany. It cant be fixed!!
So we are looking at a parts car for $200,
After we pull the trany we are going to part it out, The cars a green 94 so if anyone needs anything from it let me now,

could it have been a bad, or multiple bad motor mounts that were causing stress in that one area?
