It'* a slight performance increase. Some tuning is not needed but is a good idea to turn the fans on at the new temps.

There'* really no performance gains that we've been able to document. If anything running cooler decreases efficiency slightly and this causes a couple of MPG'*.

The reasons for doing it would be if you had added mods that increase temp. Like a smaller pulley, rockers, heads etc.

Like Dan mentioned...turning the fans on earlier is a great thing. Being a 94 your best method for doing that is to contact GMTuners

When I 180T'* mine, I noticed at the most maybe 1 mpg decrease. I don't get the best mileage...mainly causing I'm trying to beat Venoms 11 mpg record with a non huffing motor! w3
