You could search locally for a little shop that rebuilds starters and alternators. usually bearings/brushes run about $30 installed.
Advance is the next idea...although many here say their AC Delco remans aren't as durable. I have one..it'* working good. If you are in the area...

thoes are the ones that you car could have .....
I would suggest the 140 Amp AC delco as a replacement....i think its only around 160 with a core
