Wheres the governer?
I had the car up to 215 kph last night and it wasnt showing any signs of backing off. Is it possible that it isn't governed? The guy I was with swore that it would cut out at 160, he said most GM'* do.

Supercharged is 128mph or so, and N/A is 110mph. It'* due to the stock tires on the car, and liabilities, not what the engine can or can't do.
I say XXXmph or so because it varies on each car.

i thought i read around 130 in a review a few years back, it doesn't take much to do 120, most sporty cars can do 130, can't remember when it really starts to get hard to go fast, but aerodynamics start to matter VERY quicky.
ive seen a chart before, anyone have it??
im governed at 140, 125 comes REAL quick, shifts to 4th then it still pull to 135 pretty easy, but the last 5 mph seem to take a llittle while....but i havn't been that dumb since my car was stock.

160kph? That'* about 99mph, and would be disappointing. Most GM TRUCKS are governed about there.
Hey, you hit 133 mph. What is the stock rating of your tires, is it Z? Mine were, and I've passed 130, also.
