Where are the plugs on my 99 bonneville se?
i was thinking that myself, and thats why im thinking maybe we should make a tune up techinfo. so that those afraid to ask can read instead... b4 working on a car i would suggest that u know the basics of how a car works, if u dont here is a article about it http://auto.howstuffworks.com/engine.htm its a bit long but its worth it if u dont know the basics...
Even my big ol' hands fit back there. It'* a tight squeeze, but I've done my plugs a couple of times with a ratchet and spark plug socket. The only soecial tools you might want to use would be mechanix gloves (or, in my case, band-aids).
the only probem u or him should have is the plug that right near the o2 sensor other wise their all easy and for the o2 problem i took mine out whne i did my wifes 3800 series 2 grand prixs plugs and i have had to do mine on my bonne i do plan on pulling them all just to cheak on them.

What do you want it to consist of...
Lets get a running tally of everything that you all think is improtant to know when changing the plugs on a 3800 engine... You guys throw the info together... Start a thread "spark plug change" (Tech Info)... Once you all get the info hashed out, I will write it up and send it off to the gearheads for their opinion and or additions... Then I will throw it into TechInfo for you...
Work for you guys?

Sounds excellent....
First tip
:
DO NOT ATTEMPT WHILE ENGINE IS RUNNING
ive seen it tried before
The shock through the persons hand (bare wire in fighers, back hand on chassis) with an engine coil looked VERY PAINFUL. Not to mention the damage to the car running on 5 cyliders.
