Default What is the order of the coils on the ICM?

I took them apart to clean/check and now I don't know which goes where. It is the Delco ICM.

Coil order doesn't matter. It'* the plug wires that do.

I was told they fire at the same time per ignition coil. I started my engine, saw it was fine, then switched 1 and 4. It worked just fine. I put it back, though, just in case. I bring this up because I saw a coil with 4 1 stamped into it and then one with 1 4 stamped on. Kind of weird, isn't it?

Ok, yes, wires that go to the same coil are swappable, that'* part of the "beauty" of a waste spark system. But none the less, the top two wires need to go to the proper two cylinders and so on. It doesn't matter which coil pack is in that position.
