Default What the **** happened?

Ok, so I was driving normally, car'* been fine. I get some gas, and shortly after the car starts shuddering badly, the check engine light started blicking and the traction off light went on. I don't think it was the gas because the engine idles and revs perfectly fine. Now the check engine light is on solid and there is a severe loss of power and shuddering under normal-high acceleration. It'* fine when I accelerate slow and when I rev it in park or neutral. All I can think of is transmission any other ideas or input?

I doubt fuel filter because the engine is fine out of gear, same with spark plugs.

Just because it will rev well in park or neutral, that'* not really an acid test because the engine isn't under load.

It'* most likely ignition, but it could also be a clogged fuel filter.

Heck, I've seen water in the fuel will allow it to start and run fine w/o load and then kill the engine with a load...
