yes, you have to get under the car...

this is a supercharged engine, and its setup a little bit different, but its in the same area... this pic is from the rear of the engine

i imagine an L27 would be closer to my design, so try looking straight down where the belt is on the passenger side of the car.

mine is an AC Delco filter shown in blue in the photos below.

from underneath you will have to reach up over the subframe rail to remove it. Should be very visible.




DIRECTLY below the PS pump.

Make sure you don't lose the drain plug O-ring, and don't over tighten the drain plug after you drain the oil.
