What could this noise be?

I was testing an SSEi today, and noticed a loud buzzing noise as the car rolled. I told the dealer about it but he said its the supercharger, but I reved the engine under neutral and I heard no such noise. It only makes that noise as the car is rolling and is more audible as you go faster and less as you go slower. From the driver's seat, its in the front on the left. Any idea what that could be?

Something rubbing on the tire maybe?

I checked it, nothing close to the wheel.

Wheel bearing or the dif. maybe?

buzzing

Pull the front wheels and check the brakes and givethe calipers a good lookover.
There are metal splash guards on the inside of the calipers that also could be rubbing.

Sounds like a bearing to me, just had my RF replaced.

sounds like the caliper...but buzzing is sort of vague, is it a high pitched or low almost like a rattle...?

noise

If it were a bearing the noise would change pitch when you steer left and right.
Never heard a bearing buzz. Usually is a groaning noise.

Not to jack this thread or anything, but my car seems to make the same noise. Driving straight and curving left, it makes the noise. Go from straight to right, the noise goes away. Speed is a factor also.
