Default weird temperatures

i have noted most of you saying that in this winter weather, your cars havent exceeded 190 degrees, my car once it'* warmed up, will slowly get hotter and at 220 i guess it starts pumping the coolant because is quickly drops to 190, then the temp slowly builds up again and ig uess 10 minutes later itll do it again, is this normal?

Check your thermostat. My car doesn't do this, but the way my car is that it will warm up to about 210*-215* (Too hot I know for idle with a 180* t-stat) but it won't drop back down to 190* or anything like that until I start driving and getting some air circulating through the radiator.

This is typical of a car that has at some point replaced something in its cooling system. My 93' did the same thing and had its water pump replaced before I bought it. Other people have experienced the same thing.
