id hate to bring up this dead topic, but i must


i went to a few auto shops and got quoted on them doing this just to know what i was looking at...


and i got quoted from 4 different places ranging from $250-$400

why is this when the part only costs $45...


its not to labor intensive, i dont understand

They just like your money. My son'* 97 needed a pump and dealer quoted $750.00! Mechanic friend that does work at home did it for $165.00 including the parts costs.
