Default water pump?

I have a squealing noise coming from the belt pully areas. Do you think it could be my water pump.? that would be my guess has anyone put one in and could i get a heads up on what it is and about how much.

The squealing noise says that the belt is slipping on one of the pulleys. You often find belt debris like dust or rubber crumbs around the pulley that is binding, or the pulley might show signs of getting hot like a discoloration of the metal. Just release the belt and spin all the accessory pulleys by hand to see if one is binding or wiggling indicative of beariings going bad.

Pumps are cheap. Just don't get the standard Autozone pump. Lifetime warranty, but poop out relatively fast.

I'd have to hear the noise to know where it'* coming from.

If you don't find any problem with the pulleys or bearings and your belt is still squealing, check the tension on the belt. A squealing belt with good pulleys and bearings suggests the belt is too loose. You may need a new tensioner. BTW, it is not abnormal for the belt to squeak once on startup and shutdown.
