Water Leak around the water pump!
WHAT A PITA!!!
I started this project on Sunday afternoon about 12:30 PM and at 7:30 PM last night I was finished and ready to put the belts back on. Once I got the back belt on I realized trying to install the front belt that I had the wrong belt through the motor mount. ARG!!! Now this afternoon I will have to remove the motor mount and re-install the correct belt through it.
I hope to have it running this afternoon and believe me if anyone wants to know how to replace the water pump on 97' SSEi give me a buzz. I know by heart!!!

Guys,
Thanks for all the advise/help on this!
Al, you can just send it to me on email when you're ready. Take your time. I probably won't have time to post it until later this week anyway. Thanks for the help. Your writeup will make the next one a helluva lot easier for the next guy.

Well I did it! I finally got the darn thing put back together. Guys I'll tell you, it was as big a pain as I have ever gone through. Now you need to understand, I hate putting gas in the vehilce well alone working on it mechanically! SO for me to go through this was a big accomplishment.wilwren, I sent you the write up on how I did it. It is as simple as it can be. Sorry for it not being technically correct. If they have a service manual they can find the specifics.
Sounds great Al. Glad you're back on the road with us. I'll combine your article with some specifics from the manual and leave it in easy to understand jargon. It'* always nice to have the writeup from someone who'* done it.
Great job
