My 1992 sse was put out of it'* garage for 3 weeks under some trees. When I went to move it back I found standing water under the passenger side front mat. So I pulled back the carpet and insulation and found water stains coming down from the firewall. I then poured water via garden hose in the driver side ("drain/Air intake")? at the base of the windshield on the passenger side. there was then a steady drip down the firewall (inside into the passenger compartment). I then started on the EVAP cleaning I now have everything apart but i still don't understand why water is geting in my passenger compartment.

If your evap core drain hole is blocked, water will fill up the box around the core, and drain out into your ducting. Get that drain cleared.
