Default warm up noise from air cleaner?

I've had my 95 Non supercharged for about 6 months. When started cold it has a sound from the ar cleaner that sounds like the bearings are going out. With the new cold air intake you can really hear it. Once the motor warms up the sound is gone, motor nearly silent.
Any Ideas, I have yet to do a lot of the things I need to do....like clean the MAF. I cleaned the IAC. New pluigs and wires, that'* it.

Lol!

It sounds like you are just experiencing the lovely sounds of a gutted air box and now a CAI. Some people don't like it and it bothers them, but most of us recognize that sound as the free extra volume that gives us added power.

Or maybe your air cleaner bearings are just going.... :P

Just Kidding

Nope, the airbox was huge and completely stock when I removed it. But since I got just your one comment I'll assume that it isn't a big deal. Thanks for the reply!!

Frequently ..(with a gutted airbox) the noise you hear is the IAC controlling the idle until the car warms up. It'* a little odd you are hearing it with a stock box.

My '96 Buick would sound that way, too - but it was heard more by the throttle body than the air box. I just chalked it up to the IAC and maybe a dirty TB and IAC passage.
