Heat/AC Blower Motor Speed
1995 SSEi 3800 Supercharged
Have a bit of a problem. Can turn down the fan speed via the control, the meter levels go up and down, put the fan speed stays on high.
One speed - high -- and that'* it.
Not sure whether it'* the motor or the controller at this point.
Anyone have an idea?

Yeah - posted in the wrong one forum. Thanks for moving it.
So is the blower control module part of the environment control (in the dash) or is it a seperate control box somehere?

These years are not exactly my strong point, but if I remember correctly, it is in the engine compartment, against the firewall, on top of the ductwork. Look for a rectangular(?) cover with wires going to it on the passenger side.

The main controlling point for the blower motor is the BCM or blower control module. It is located under the maxifuse relay center on top of the HVAC box on the firewall.
I don't have the diagnostics with me..however that'* typically the part that fails.

Problem is...there'* no good way to test it. Getting to it is fun as well. You need to remove the maxifuse center from the firewall (2 10mm nuts).
