Default Trunk Light Switch

Hey guys,
Since it got out of single digits here outside I want to find out why my trunk light stays on even when the trunk is closed. It killed my battery one day so I unplugged the bulb. It is dark when I get home from work so I have not found where the switch is located. Can someone help me out on it'* location? It is a 96 SE. Thanks.

It is built into the trunk lid lock mechanism. The switch is just a little finger that gets pushed up by the ring that the lock locks onto.
