Ok. Here ya go. You want the original cooler line from the rad to go to the stock cooler first. Then loop it thru the new cooler, either top or bottom, don't matter. gravity doesn't care much when pressure is involved. After the new cooler, come back around to the return line. You can see it in the pic, cuz it'* the clean hose UNDERNEATH the rad fitting with the "C" line going out to the stock cooler. It then goes down to the transaxle return port. My loop is actually behind the headlight, but you can do it anywhere you want. If you compare my pics and rambling to the info that comes with the coooler, tiz a piece 'o cake:

(notice the bright yellow spot.....figured if i was drunk, the flashlight would help me aim)

Forget the gvw. Buy one that fits where you want it. It'* really that simple, cuz the sse and the ssei already have one. you're just adding insurance. FIT. Not gvw. Those ratings are for people who tow. You're just trying to prolong the lifetime of the transaxle and leach heat away from the block and intake. Doing one better than pontiac.

Go for it. Heat kills the tranny so anything you can do to keep it cooler will help. I know, I've already had mine rebuilt once.
