Default Transmission blew this afternoon

Well this may be the end of the bonneville era for me, this is the 2nd transmission ive blown in a little over a year. This one has a little over 50K on it :? So I was coming out of a turn from one highway to another and I stepped on the gas after the turn and it slipped right out of gear and just revved up. So now it wont go into any gears (not even reverse) and theres a loud "wherring" noise coming from the transmission. This is just very aggravating for me because there was no warning signs for this at all, it hasnt been slipping or anything and theres no codes on the computer; the only thing that has been happening in the past few weeks it has been doing that studdering & shuddering then under light throttle from a stop. The 1st trans in this car did that for like 2 years and nothing like this happened and at the time cottman told me that was because of the Pressure control selonoid. So anyways I have no ideas right now, if someone has ideas to what happened please let me know.

I vaguely remember that the wheering noise is the pump in the transmission, try dropping the pan and checking the filter to see if its clogged. maybe its a simple fix.

Yea Im thinking that sound is probably from the pump but id hope the filter is alright because the filter/fluid was recently changed but I guess that wouldnt mean anything now if something got into the filter

This trans is only a year old? Does it have a warranty?

IIRC this type of whirring is typically noise from the pump.

The trans cooler I have I put in with this transmission, as it stands now it wont go into any gear and its got the whirring noise, the fluid is fresh and has a good smell to it. Before it blew my trans temps were decent too, even when I was beaten on it, it would only go up to 200-205 but mostly was around 195. Like I said the only problem Ive been experiencing in the last few weeks was that violent shudder under light-mod acceleration from a stop which the original trans did for like 2 years before it went.
