Bandit I am sorry I didn't see this post before. When I had my 94 SLE it had the same issue. In the morning all I did was go straight to 1 and then put it in drive and go. I wouldn't have to do it if I drove it often but if I let sit for more than 12 hrs I had to go down to one first. I drove like this for 12,000 miles till I got rear ended in it. Just so you don't waist, time Lucas or similar products don't work. What Hotz28 said is also what my trans guys said happened to it. I wish you luck bud.

I had a thought about this last night. Do you think a adjustable shift modulator would help? You ca tighten it up a bit so that it has more strength too go into gear.

Mine does the exact same thing. LOL, i couldnt have put it in better words. Whenever the temp is lower then 20 it does this. Once i get it to shift into drive then it is fine. I have no clue what it is. :?

I might put a used one in til i am done college. I dont have the 3000 to drop in a rebuild right now but once i grad (5000 sign on bonus and 28 an hour) then i am rebuilding and buyinga nice turbo setup from matt. I dont have this problem much because i usually dont drive my car when it is cold but i have had clinicals in the morning lately and the lastfew mornings it has been around 20-25 below.
