Threw some more codes today with stock coils. Gonna see if the dealer can fit me in for a scan tomarrow and I will suggest, "Couldn't it be the crank sensor? Because I've heard they go bad in the older 3800'* and cause the car to die or not start at all."

They most likely won't go fix something else because I said that just to make money because my dad has bought all GM products from them for the past 25 years.

Same codes came up at the dealer today. They said for roughly $60 they can diagnose it, then it has to be fixed. Blah to that...

I basically said "Go ahead and change the crank sensor" but they were out of stock. So Monday she goes in and the crank sensor is gonna be replaced. Now if it IS the ignition module I'm screwed. Why? $275 from AC Delco and I don't have that kind of money floatin' around at the moment. Its a hit or miss here guys, pray for me.

Heres the old crank sensor...I'm scared because the pins look clean as a whistle.
