Traction control is on, as in when i hit the button off ( where dash indicator says " traction off" ) doesnt happen, i hit the button and nothing happens, the switch is always illuminated and stays that way when i push it in and i dont know what the problem is, anyone else have any idea ? i tried looking at the other T/C forums but didnt see any answers...

It'* your thread and you are the only person that posted besides him. I'm pretty sure he'* suggesting that you try unplugging a wheel speed sensor to see what happens. Being that your traction control is reliant on the sensors to know how fast you are going..it should set a light or turn off the traction control.

where is the wheel speed sensor , somewhere near the trans or down by the wheels ?

It'* the only connector on the back side of each wheel hub.

Theres on on each wheel at the hub. If you turn your steering wheel all the way right , you can see the drivers side; its the only wires going to the brake/wheel area.

yeah i tried that and nothing changed, i tried both sensors. any ideas ?

I got a good idea. Disconnect one of them again, and actually go drive. It won't check the sensors until you drive. IIRC, it'* about 10mph.

I have a bad sensor on my 95, and my light doesn't come on until I've been driving about 30 seconds.

I think I read it needs over 10 or 15mph for 30 seconds. However driving would be key.

And in reality..the items being mentioned should fault the system and turn the light off. If it'* staying on as mentioned, there appears to be a different fault.
