My system keeps shutting off. Wilren you had said something about a wheel sense going bad. Could you or someone give me some insite on troubleshooting the system.
As in what kind of singals I might see, a way to tell what wheel is bad. Or over all a good disc on how it works. The books I have don't tell me alot and I don't know if a scanner picks that info up.

A typical scanner can't read the EBCM codes. Only the dealer can. About all you can do is check the connectors on all 4 hubs, and then take it into the dealer for diagnosis. Mine was $128 for that. I have a bad PMV and Left rear hub. Tires come first. Then I'll get to it. The dealer wants $900 to replace the PMV. I've already swapped one in from a salvage yard, it was bad too. I'll get a new one from gmpartsdirect when I win the lottery

I had many people in the past make comments about how they wanted to disable there traction control system because it was dangerous for there driving style. What’* your take on that will?. Personally I think control is ove . But then again I’m odd.

In addition to a possible wheel sensor going bad, if the brakes or transmission overheats then it will also turn off.
I would think that if you have a bad sensor, it would also shut off the anitlocks as well, but not always.
Occasionally (like once a year) my traction control shuts off if I do a lot of agressive, stop and go driving.

Well the ABS is working as it should and I do drive the car hard most of the time but it was raining here hard as I was being nice and it still does it. What ever it is it'* really broke now cause it'* allways turns it'* self off w/in 5 min of starting the car.

Sounds like you should have a diagnostic done on the system, including retrieval of trouble codes.
If your ABS is working, it can only be the parts of the system that don't have anything to do with the ABS. For this reason it CAN'T be a wheel speed sensor.
Your possible culprits are:
The high pressure pump mounted to the PMV (cannot be changed without the entire PMV 320 bucks)
The traction portion of the EBCM (700 bucks)
This being the case, if you want it working, it'* worth your time to have the dealer scan it for $100. Both items are fairly easy to change.
I personally prefer the traction to be working, but I have a different system than the newer cars. Mine doesn't do anything in hard cornering. Just helps me off the line when things are wet. I'd still like to see some 0-60 times with and without the traction. I'm planning to get both of my systems fixed before the end of the year, but to do it, I'm changing both rear hub assemblies and the PMV. My EBCM is ok, thank god.

Ok thanks. I like to keep the T/C on when poss. Then again I have crappy tires on right now. So my wheel spin is bad. I have now discoverd I have a brake fluid leak somewhere. The res is going down but I don't see any drips yet so I'm going to pull all 4 tires and see if theres something up .
