Default Tensioner

My tensioner has no gone bad on my 1992 SSEi. When I loosened it to remove the belt, the tensioner didnt do go back to its orignal position on it own like it should. How do I remove the tensioner with the bracket for the alternator because I have a parts car that I would like to remove the tensioner from to replace mine with. Thanks

Forget the accessory bracket. Just put a socket inside the tensioner and remove. Only one bolt holds it there.

That assembly is the tensioner. Not the bracket. The tensioner assembly has a pulley on it. The WHOLE thing comes off with a single bolt in the center of the rotating assembly. Look in there.
