You'll have to chang the TCC Solenoid.. I haven't done it on a Bonneville, so I don't know where the location is on the tranny.. ( since my previous car was a Cavalier.. and only had my Baby Bonnie for a few months... ) I just need to start my own library up on the Bonneville ( never be as intense as Rat'* library.. but has to be good enough that I don't have to annoy him everytime ). For the Cavalier.. it is recommended that you do the tranny fluid and tranny filter at the same time. If you're going to do it yourself.. why don't you get a tranny cooler installed at the same time ??

Well I have not been able to get a good long flat out interstate run yet. The closest I've come is a 200 mile trip to PA when the car was only 2 weeks old. I only got 28 MPG but I figure that was because the engine was too tight, plus we were way overloaded...2 adults, three kids and a trunk stuffed full of crap. Plus we were heading through the mountains so the car was almost never in OD.

Now the car is a little more broken in and I am using Mobile 1 so mileage should be improving.

Ok, I would agree that the tonque convector is not locking out/in. I would assume that the TCC solenoid is inside of the transmission housing.......that said where does this thing connect on the outside. I would like to at least verify that it is connected b4 I pay go through the trouble of replacing it........:?

Thanks......
