System Monitor
My Dad has a 98 SE that is really in pretty good shape. However, the system monitor on the dash does not work, I think. Is it supposed to show if a door is open, or any other info? It just shows if the brake is on and says check gages when you first turn on the key.

the system moniter doesnt show the doors being open or closed. its there to tell you about your brakes, gauges and all those goodies.
you'd think pontiac would have done that for the system moniter, oh well.

I do the same at times... although.. that SE will never suffer from "bout to bust up the monitor" when it'* dinging you into insanity for a bulb being out.

Great thanks, I have many questions and I don't see a master search for topics on this site, am I missing it? It would be nice, because I know the same questions are asked over and over...You residents seem to be able to quickly find usefull links!? Hate use space when I know answers are already here!
