I think it'* like a Teflon, it makes a tighter fit.

Okay, got it all together and took it out for a drive. Everything seems to be fine! When I looked closely at the rotors in the supercharger they do appear to be coated with a teflon type coating but it is light grey not black. I still think the stuff I cleaned off the rotors with throttle body cleaner was just the same black gunk that forms in the throttle body. I think it is caused by recirculating exaust gasses back into the intake. When I stand on the gas peddle it pulls as strong as ever and the boost gauge goes just shy of the red zone , just like it did before. Thanks again for all the help! I would not even consider taking on a major repair like this without this forum.
