Default sunroof noise

When I close the sunroof on 97 ssei, it seals good for a few seconds then the front rises a little and I get noise. It is getting worse. Any ideas on fix? I don't have a manual for this one yet. The same as 93?

Same as a 93. Try running it to vent, then closed. It'll seal better.

To adjust the roof, you really need 2 people and a GOOD manual. There are only 6 screws to break loose to do it, but it'* a trial and error process.

Thanks Willren. Tried the vent to close. It seals for a few seconds, then gets noisy. I've got the 93 manual, so it'* good to know they're the same. Wind noise makes me crazy Don't understand why it'* quiet for a few seconds after closing, then gets noisy.

no need for the manual... just some time and a good screw driver...

i did it by myself all the time... just use your head to hold it up

You CAN, as I have too, but it'* much easier with a second person to keep an eye on how flush it is to the roof.

I've read through the manual and the quickest easiest way is with a second person. Otherwise you are in and out of the car many times hoping to get it lined up right.

Exactly my point.

If no amount of adjustment solves the problem, replace the seal. Instructions for that are in Techinfo. I've done it to both of mine.
