96SE automatically shuts the sunroof when the ignition is shut off. Is this normal?

GM sunroof'* in our cars do not close automatically. Open yes..close no.

If it closes automatically it'* aftermarket.

It'* almost certainly aftermarket, for the reason that was posted, and that it'* on an SE without the SLE package. I don't recall ever seeing a sunroof on an SE without the SLE package.

A pic of the sunroof switch would definitely help solve this, as would a pic of the top of the car and sunroof (trim).

Ok, I've been proven wrong...I just now remembered the STS' was aftermarket.

Who has a pic of their stock switch? That would give the OP a good idea what it should look like.

I have a pic of mine on computer, but cant figure out how to post it. Help here?

We don't actually need yours. We all have stock switches and know what they look like. We need to see his to determine if it'* aftermarket for sure.
