you need a good set of quality wrenches when you are working with any of lines, especially if rusted and try to keep the line side as still as possible, i dont know how many times filter changes ended up being line changes.

Well, I changed the fuel filter. It still idles and runs horribly. I'm going to check under the hood now.

Yeah, the fuel trims are at 0%/16%. That and some Googling last night led me to the fuel filter.

It needed to be changed anyway. The gas that poured out of the old filter was very black.

That was easy. My 1-4 coil pack is showing infinite resistance. Glad I picked up that fully-loaded ICM some years ago.

Also worth noting, Mike: in sunlight, the oil is the right color, and the crud on the underside of the cap and valve covers is just regular oil.
