Just something weird that happened to me over the past few months, maybe it helps you. For 6-8 months I had to have at least 1/4 fuel in the tank to be able to keep the engine running especially when I was breaking or in curbs....Anyway to keep it short. My battery died about 2 weeks ago, I replaced it, clean the contacts, and now I can run the tank to empty, and even get the CHECK GAGES light, something that I haven't been able to do for a long time, I wasn't even sure that it was working anymore. The only explanation I have is that the battery was weak and the pump couldn't get enough power..... I thought I should share it with you.

I may try that, my battery is getting old anyway. I'll try all that stuff w/ the gas tank, too. I have to put a new filter in anyway.
