Heres a weird problem. When I turn the car off after driving, a short while after a thud occurs right rear. The car actually even moves a bit during the sound. Sometimes it will happen sitting at a light, you think someone even hit you from behind. But almost always happens within a minute of turning off engine.

I'm thinking two possibilities. Either a brake related issue ie. rear wheel cylinder, or a strut going bad.

Can anyone please provide some further insight.

I'm not very savvy on the car models and stuff yet, but do you have the electronic suspension control on that car?

maybe a strut. Is it occuring after you turn the engine off or when you get out and let the car settle a bit?
