Im not too sure where they are but they JBwelded the crack and its holding this time but theres still a little sound so they are gonna pull it off and see if they can get it all the way. If its a warped head that will suck but ive still got another head from my other engine so its not too bad of a situation.

Well theres a new situation, when i got home my mother told me i had a call from the shop and they left a message stating that my head gasket is blown, what the hell, im pretty sure it wasnt blown when i took it there, isnt that a noticeable thing, lots of stuttering and such, its drove pretty nice except for the loud nouise, can that be causing the problem with the manifolds and how much does it cost for a head gasket to be fixed?

UPDATE: Well its official, just got off the phone with the shop and ive got a blown head gasket and they tell me that bout 3 of my cylinders got leaks in em, something about my valve body, i dont know if i can take this anymore, ive had to put 5,000 in repair into this car already and now its another $900. I dont have that much money anymore so i dont know what im gonna do.... specially with college coming up this winter.

Well they already told me the compressions, 5 of them are about 150 and the other they say is 25...... and another thing, when i got the car back i had 2lbs of boost cause the bcs or something was limiting it to 2lbs so i did the bypass trick and now they are telling me that thats what caused it having too much boost in the car and i told them no, all it does is build the boost quicker. I dont know what to do now... oh and also something about 3 valves being shot or something now...

Well everyone ive called said that if the compression is that low that i probably also have a burnt valve, shop i want to take it to says that they send the head back out, mill it, redo all the seats and all that stuff and replace the valves if they are burnt, said its about $950, is that reasonable, and also one guy told me he doesnt even bother sometimes because if any water got into the cylinder and it gets down into the crankcase or something about bearings my engine is gonna be shot anyways....

Well heres a question, can a broken cam sensor if it screws up, can that cause a head gasket to blow or manifolds to break? Because if it can then i dont have to pay for a single thing because they said it would be running fine when i got the engine put in and they would check everything out, when i got there to pick it up they said i had a ESC code from their scantool, which the cam sensor is part of the ESC (electronic spark control) and they just cleared the code, so if they just ignored it and a cam sensor could have caused all of this then they have to pay for all of it.
