STILL fighting the p0171/p0102...
New MAF didn't change a thing, still right where I started...
Everytime I try to check the EGR tube, the bolt where it hits the UIM is so rusted tight it won't budge, not even with a ton of wd-40. Suggestions?

You are talking about the bolt under the TB that goes into the LIM? I've never found that to be rusted.
Did you try popping the crossover out of the way to get a better angle on it?

Crossover off, and yes, that bolt.
HERE'* SOMETHING.
Sprayed a steady continuous stream of starting fluid at the EGR valve, under the solenoid, where the two nuts attach it to the exhaust...
And the idle died down then picked up. Kept doing that while I sprayed there.
Getting a multimeter to check out the solenoid tonight.
But, I may have narrowed down my code, ya think?
Super happy.
Also...
there'* a ground, passenger side, right above the battery. When I disconnected it to check it, there was an audible clicking/almost a fart(really no other way to explain it, sorry!) type noise coming from the EGR side of engine.

sounds like the EGR gasket may be bad. It'* easy to change with those two 13mm nuts.
Clicking on that ground. You didn't do that wtih the ignition on did you?

My EGR and the pedestal are two separate pieces, no gasket visible. When I lift EGR off pedestal, I'm seeing metal on egr, metal on pedestal, no gasket material to speak of. Picture of it?

Peeled it off and cleaned EGR where it was, and will be putting a new gasket on tonight.
really hoping but really doubting that this fixes my problems.
