Default Steering shimmy ocurring at any speed

I have a steering shimmy that is getting progressively worse. Although this happens at every speed, while driving at about 20 mph I can watch the steering wheel will "tick-tock", like a clock, rotating back and forth. CV joint?

Any ideas or tips for diagnosis?
Thanks

Check your tires maybe they need to be replaced or rotated

jack the car up in the front to both wheels are off the ground and try to shake the wheels.

top and bottum, front and back, and see if you feel any slop

also double check all your lug nuts
