Default Steering Column

I have a 1994 Bonneville that has a broken pin inside the steering column that tilts the column.I need to replace it and the yards that I called say that only a 94 is interchangeable. Does anyone know if you can install a 93 or 95 in it'* place an if not what is the difference? I don't have any of the controls in my original column and don't know what the difference would be.

Most likely they are seeing that it'* not interchangeable. The only things I can see holding it up is that 95 would have been a different color (charcoal).

Double check the connectors and I bet you find they are equal.
