Default Steam through my vents...

I had my heater running something made a weird noise and steam started coming through all of my vents and smells like coolant. Resivoir was dry and the radiator was almost dry. Is this a heater core gone bad or thermostat. I dont think it was wet anywhere from the coolant. Help please.

Check e-bay for the heater core. Parts puppies about $70. I got mine for $22!
