Check the resistance of the coil windings while you have them off.

Take the plugs wires off the coils (make sure to note which wire goes where), use an ohmeter or multimeter to check the resistance between each pair of terminals, remove them, check the resistance between the underside terminals (you'll have to probe with wire or something), and do the rest I said above.
