Well..been reading old posts and found the one on cleaning the MAF..Thanks. I see there is also a "debate" on the pcm and gremlins particularly '94 up. I will clean the MAF tomorrow and unplug it. On a Honda engine I stuck rope in the spark plug hole and this kept the piston from getting to the top.It worked on getting the crank bolt off and luckily I did not damage anything. The starting method sounds rather dicey! Thanks for the ideas!

Well..Today the car would not even start. Can a Crank Sensor cause that too?(or will it typically run but stalls? The other day it finally did start. Today just cranks but will not turn over. I have not checked to see if its getting fuel.

Check if you have spark. It could be a bad CPS

Pulled out the MAF today and cleaned it with MAF cleaner. I also tested it with the connection unplugged and made no difference. After cleaning the MAF it did not help the stalling. It will crank but turn over but will idle only for a moment then stall.
