Very true. Cleaning the TB and associated parts would be a free fix, and it should be done anyway. Do that first. Some auto parts stores will be able to test your ICM, but it'* an intermittent problem, so they may find nothing. After the intake cleaning, I'd try to find an ICM and coils from another 3800 to swap in for testing.

Problem still being there is no junkyard within 300 miles that has another Bonneville or like car!

Park avenue? Lesabre? Riviera? Grand Prix? There are millions of compatible donors.

UPDATE:
I sprayed half a can of TB cleaner inside the opening and reved it up and all..i know this isnt the greatest way to do it, but its -20 outside and i dont want to **** around a whole lot!
I took the car out on the hwy, slowed down to 20 mph then rugged it up to 80, around 3500-4000 rpms u can hear and see a fluctuation in rpms they kinda go up and down..u can hear because the tone of the supercharger whine goes up and down..leading me to think maybe i need a new CAT...i kicked it pretty hard and u can hear **** rattling around in there.

If the cat is rattling, it needs to be replaced. It might not solve all your problems though. The way you described it, you have a SUDDEN kill. It'* possible, I supose. A bad cat is usually evident under load.
