350 isn't going to happen on your current setup. You'll need heads at a minimum. If you were talking at the crank, then it wouldn't be a problem.

How many miles on the clutches etc in your trans? With more power (like you have) comes more wear/tear on the clutches.

You know how it goes Jon, do something enough times and you become very proficient.

What did it take to install and get it running? I figure 2 hours or less.

I have a S1x cam. Where this engine is right now is really about as far as I plan to go. I say that now. Once I get this engine in to a Fiero, then the skies the limit. Aluminum heads, S2x cam, that'* my plan.

Keep in mind. Once you do heads. A set of 1.8RR'* would give you more lift than an S3X cam with 1.7'* on it. Plus you'd retain the nice S1X idle.

Just saying.. the S2X is kinda a waste of money. If the sky is the limit.

On your current configuration though. You'll likely see just under 300hp at the wheels with a great tune. With the setup I had, I may have been close to 350 at the wheels.

I think you'd still need to up it to S3 heads, S3X cam or S1X with rockers, 130# springs, Gen V running 2.8/2.9", N* or Ls1 TB. Much of that comes with more supporting mods like fuel logs, etc etc. A larger intercooler to make it consistent and an upgraded fuel pump. Or you could do it the easy way.. Turbo!

All part of the plan. I figure I can get fuel logs on this set up. Then slowly get my parts together. Then build up a bit more then stock L67 to drop in the bonnie and then build up the L26 more and drop in a Fiero.

moved to it'* proper Mechanical Section. General Chat is for items that affect all platforms and "General Chat". It really helps the GearHeads, others with ownership of same/similar Models, the Forum regarding search bots, and our own internal search engine when we keep things in order. Thanx.

projects have a home in their branded section

Grrrrr, I'm getting frustrated here and it'* really getting on my last nerve. As some of you may know I've been plagued with a very odd KR problem. Shows up between about 1400 and 1800 RPM, and goes as high as 14.9* This problem has crossed to it'* third engine now. I have changed the far more times then that. Even going back to a near stock set up with the only exceptions being a few abuse modes, the MAF, VE, and injector tables because I have a different size then stock.

I then started to swap out parts that were transfered to the new engine, flex plate is new, no change. I just tried a different harmonic balancer, no change, I've done a few CASE learns, no change. Right now I have very little that is the same. The PCM and wire harness. It'* possible I have a bad knock sensor in the PCM, I don't have a spare. The cam is the same, not sure if this would cause this problem. But pulling it is getting closer. And the transmission. But after talking to a few people, it'* unlikely the transmission is causing this. But I may look in to swapping the torque converter. Not sure yet. Here is a scan of what'* going on.

OK, stock(ish) timing table, supercharger belt off(no boost), transmission in gear with foot on brake, not moving.
