Default SSEi stumbling at hot idle....what gives?

Ok, now that I have a day or two off, I am working on the new ride. I've washed the engine bay and such, now I am getting greasy and figuring out why this runs the way it does. I pulled the codes, and for some odd reason, there aren't any. Here is the thing: runs nice when its cold, when it warms up, runs like crap, like there is a misfire. Checked the coils and they seem fine enough to make the car run...checked all the wires, plugs are decent enough, cleaned the TB...what else am I overlooking? BTW, I ordered the new balancer, and the parts guy told me that might have something to do with the running condition as there is a tone wheel for the crankshaft sensor....any thoughts on this?

Worse - Bosch

I narrowed it down to a coil pack afterall.....2/5 pack, but as soon as I did, battery konks out....so after this thing is running well enough to go to the parts store I am goin to put it on the analyser....

I've got an old 2/5 bad OEM coil too. Wanna trade?

Hey, can you post your primry and secondary resistances for all 3 coils?

Sure Willren, here are my findings.....all of the coil packs had tower-to-tower readings w/in the specs you gave in tech info. However, all the coils have less than .5 ohm where they mate to the coil plate, and all vary their readings. I also found alot of moisture down there, so I bet that was culprit too. But their was ALOT of spark bouncing around on all the coil towers when I removed a wire...freaky.

Sand...it may be worthwhile for you to pull the coils and icm back up. I found that my ICM to mounting plate had gotten a light layer of corrosion. Cleaning the plate and bottom of the ICM smoothed out some issues I was having.
