You're backwards Pat, remember we talked online about this? Its the lenses that aren't available through dealers, and GMPD only has one of the four lenses.
I can get both outer lenses through the dealer.....they are 68$ cost.....around 97its if you dont have a parts hookup

Pat, your friend is wrong. The tails are still available as a whole unit.

No I didn't! That info is what I needed!! I just checked their web site and, while still expensive (about $375 for the pair including shipping), it'* about half of what my local dealer quoted. While the junk yard is still a possibility, given that the original pair only lasted 12 years before cracking with no apparent cause, I'd hesitate spending more than $50-100 on a use pair.

But mostly, thank you for deciphering GMPD for me. A much better source for new parts than a regular dealer -- certainly than mine.

Marty

I called my local dealer yesterday and was told that is still a valid part number and that there still is inventory.

Keep in mind the lights you have only lasted 2 years, but then again, how many more years are you going to have it, and is it worth that price? Add shipping on top of it.

Personally, I think the best option is a light tint to hide the delamination. I've tinted for that reason on 3 of the 4 sets I've done.
