squeak from the wheel
I have noticed in my car (1993 SLE) that whenever I hit a bump at reasonable speeds (rr tracks, road patch, anything) there is a squeaking noise coming from my front drivers side wheel. All four wheels have been lubed, but I can't figure it out. I think it may be the bearing, but I'm not sure. It sounds like it'* coming from inside the hub, rather than the shock or the brakes or anything. What do y'all think? Are the bearings hard or expensive to fix?
If its just when your going over bumps and dip'* its probably going to be something in your suspention system. The wheel bearing will make a constant vibration, even driving over flat smooth roads.
wheel bearing problems usually make themselves especially apparent while turning corners that put alot of force on the car, and theyre usually a load groaning sound.
