call me daft, but what'* the differance?
I assume it has to do with the metals in the plug, right? Different metals carry a differenet peak electrical transfer, some less resilitant than others. If I'm not mistaken, the less the resistance, the higher the electrical current to generate a larger spark.
So, is the iridium the better of the two?

Iridiums ARE platinum. Iridium is just a trade name.

Do NOT run Bosch platinums in a Bonneville, unless you want to replace them every 5k miles. Any NGK plug including the V-power, or AC Delco plugs are great.

Sorry Will but as far as I know , Iridium is a element of of the table of elements and has very small amouts of radio activty . That'* what I learn in Aviation High School in Queen , New York . I might have fell asleep in class or the teacher was drunk when he granted me my airframe and power plant licenses , but that'* what I remember ! If 'm worng , then slap me silly !
