Ok last night my friends and i were all driving back to his house after prom and stuff and we were goofing around a bit going a little fast and i was going pretty fast and i heard a small clunk like something fell and then it just started feeling wierd, and everytime i tried to get it over 80 it would just like stutter or i dont know how to explain it, so i just backed off, well i got hoem and both of my exhaust manifolds and the crossover pipe were Glowing bright red, i mean very very hot, i dont know whats wrong? Any ideas?

was the engine temp high?

if not, i'd inspect the exhaust system for posible tubing damage or a clogged cat.

Under prolonged high load situations, exhaust manifolds will glow. So that could be normal, if maybe a sign of a little exhaust restriction. The clunk I don't know about.

I dont know how it could be a clogged cat i just had a brand new high performance cat put on there, and another thing, recently my cars been doing this wierd thing when i first drive it a few miles its ok when i mash it to the floor it goes, but after a bit it just like bogs down when i hit it, and it makes this wierd noise like i dont know how to explain it, i dont know if its the supercharge or the transmission but its like it sound almost like its going then slowing down then going then slowing down i really have no clue how to explain it.

160 is just broken in.

TPS sensor, MAF sensor, PCV valve, Clogged cat (coulda been that noise you heard, big chunks of carbon fly out down the mani'* into the cat).'

Lotsa things, and all chepaer then a new engine. Could be tranny related. What'* your tranny fluid look like.

Tranny fluid is all sorts of brown, very bad, and ive got a leak right now so im adding about a quart of fluid every week, getting that fixed monday when i get my check and im putting in this performance fluid so hopefully that helps a bit.
