Default some advice please

Ok so since i fixed my uim and did all that the car has been running great except for some times it feels like it shifts rough. But i figure it needs a tranny flush becuase who know'* if the person who did it before me did one recently i've only had the car since march ish. Anyways back to the point. I went away for the weekend and we toomk my gf'* car and when i came back and started my car the next day before work it makes a bit of a ticking sound sounds more top end ish and increases a bit as he rpm'* go up the car still runs fine perfect idle nothing missing just makes that noise. I'm guessing it is one of the valves being sticky or a lifter or something like that. Does this sound fimilar to anyone and should I be worried for the near future for something bad to happen?

Thanks

Don't flush the tranny. Just do a drain, filter change and refill. If you flush, you might make things much worse and unless you are prepared right now to rebuild or replace the tranny.

Sometimes when vehicles sit for any length of time, things can get a bit sticky. You can try a SeaFoam treatment https://www.gmforum.com/t281662/ . Then change the oil and filter and see if things aren't any better.

because when you drain and change the filter, your getting rid of a certain percentage of tranny oil and the tranny still need a little chunky crap due to wear and tear of the gears.
