its more than likely one of the three basic needs..air fuel and spark..test your coils(could have gotten a bad one) check air filter check injectors and all wiring for them check feul pressure and MAF are always my starting points....Sounds like at an internittent point its losing one of the three esentials...so they all need checked..I really reccomnd the hot and cold coil test as when my 97 had a bad coil it stumbled cold an ran fine warm..replaced it and problem solved..vaccum leaks cracked egr tube.lose wires check anything and everything..for visual evidence of a default or something that could cause one

Hey crazy gunner...have you removed your plugs recently. Not sure if this is a indicator of the problem but my back plugs were all black, while the front plugs were all white. hmmmm
